HOW TO DELETE INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT 

To delete your Instagram account, follow these steps:

1. Log in: Go to the Instagram website or open the Instagram app and log in with the account you want to delete.

3. Access Account Settings: Click on your profile icon in the bottom right corner (app) or top right corner (website) to go to your profile page. Then click on the three horizontal lines (app) or the gear icon (website) to access your account settings.

4. Navigate to Settings: Scroll down and click on "Settings" or "Settings & Privacy."

6. Access Account Information: On the app, tap on "Security." On the website, click on "Privacy and Security."

8. Delete Account: Look for the option that says "Account Removal" or "Delete Your Account." On the app, this might be under "Account > Delete Your Account." On the website, this could be under "Account Information > Delete Your Account."

10. Choose Reason: Instagram will ask you to select a reason for deleting your account from the drop-down menu. Choose the reason that best fits your situation.

12. Re-enter Password: You'll be prompted to re-enter your password as a security measure.

14. Delete Account: After re-entering your password, click on the final confirmation button to delete your account.

Please note the following:

• Data Deletion: Once you delete your Instagram account, your profile, photos, videos, comments, likes, and followers will be permanently removed. This cannot be undone.

• No Recovery: There is no way to recover a deleted Instagram account, so be sure you want to delete it before proceeding.

• Temporary Deactivation: If you're not sure about deleting your account permanently, you can also choose to temporarily deactivate it. Deactivation will hide your profile and content until you decide to reactivate it by logging back in.

• Waiting Period: Once you initiate the account deletion process, there might be a waiting period (usually around 30 days) during which you can cancel the deletion request if you change your mind.
